Jason Sanders: Factions says
In his solo exhibition debut, gallerist, and artist, Jason Sanders takes his style of contemporary minimalism and compounds it with his outlook on life, society, and self.

Jason's take on contrasting ideals and struggles is revealed in his work through the use of composition, contrasting colors, negative space and geometric vs organic shapes.

--"Everything is against each other in my work, light vs dark, big vs small, blue vs orange, the haves, vs the have-nots, every element has its opponent. It's about the balances and imbalances that we all deal with, individually and as a society."

The, acrylic and mixed medium on canvas, artist, draws his influences from cartography, and minimalist graphic design. His inspiration comes a need to express himself while keeping things as simple as possible. "I was taught that you can roar with a whisper, FACTIONS is me whispering"

"I've never believed that simplicity and intricacy we're opposites, I always treated them as the same"
