Life Casting Demonstration

The goal is for cosplayers to have the ability to do their own castings for costume building.
Limited seating, and Must be at least 18 years old to attend.

There are a lot of cosplayers that can't afford to have life casts done of them. These are ridged plaster casts that help enormously in forming heated plastics and foams around your torso, head, arms, etc.. To hire me to do front & back torso, head, forearms, and calves is about $2,000 (a lot of money).

I thought it would be a good for the DFW cosplay community if I did a very cheap demonstration of how to do all of this. I would volunteer my time to do this, as long as my costs are covered. I would need about $500 to cover the cost of the model, supplies and helpers.

$30 per person should take care of it if I can get 15 to 20 folks to attend

Itinerary
• Quick talk about life casting with question and answer time.
• Casting Torso
• Casting Face
• Casting Forearm
• Filling the Mold
• Q&A and hand-out of where to buy supplies

Only one photographer will be allowed to take step-by-step pictures. I will post these images after I PG-pixelate some of them. Participants will need pen and paper to take notes (no cell phones for note taking). A hand-out will be given to everyone with supply information.
