The first Margarita Think Tank on Creatives and Power was a great start to our conversation about developing the political power of the creative communities.
Two issues that arose from that conversation was that first there exist many creative communities with different goals, motives, and intersections and we need to define those.
Second is that ownership is important but hard to achieve collectively. Do we fight over currently contested neighborhoods or depart and draw new battle lines. Also, how do we not be part of the cycle of gentrification.
