Adan Jodorowsky - Adanowsky - Accoustic Set!
Singer-songwriter stage name of Adan Jodorowsky, younger son of the acclaimed and influential filmaker, tarot master, writer, provocateur and trickster Alejandro Jodorowsky. He is also an actor, starred both the latest of his father movies and is Fenix in Santa Sangre, has worked with Julie Delpy and also has directed some of his own films. It is said that wanted to become a performer when at a very young age attended a James Brown concert, it is also said that took guitar lessons from George Harrison. He is a multiinstrumentalist, has recorded three albums, released a song with Devendra Barnhart, and his music, sometimes in Spanish, others in French or English, goes from soothing worldly folk songs to elegant vaudevillian pop to witty chanson francese.

Haunting expansive guitar driven sophisticated psych duo comprised by Christina and Tom Carter, who since the mid nineties have added another mark to a psychedelic music tradition in Texas. Coming out of Houston, they had released together around twenty records on such legendary labels as Stiltbreeze and Kranky or on their own Wholly Other label. They also have developed fruitful solo careers each one them.
DJ Mutarrancho will be selecting mucha buena musica (freak pop, international and other sounds from far beyond) before, between and after them in the Texas Theatre saloon!
