Wordspace presents an evening of "Outlaw Poetry" as collected and related by John Slate, Archivist for the City of Dallas, Author of "Lost Austin", expert and fount of knowledge on practically everything possible and impossible, oh and he had a cameo role in "Slackers"! For "Outlaw Poetry" Mr Slate will read selections from writings by Bonnie Parker, Candy Barr, Harvey Bailey, running partner with Machine Gun Kelly and Pretty Boy Floyd as well as various other notorious criminal bards. So if you were looking to confirm your suspicions that poetry is a dangerous, risky and romantic endeavor then this here is your connection. This event is a Wordspace Salon and you'll need to RSVP please in order to attend and get the address: wordspace@wordspace.us or 214-838-3554 Free for Wordspace members, $5 donation for non-Wordspace folks.
