Safe Zone Ally Training

SAFE ZONE strives to establish a university-wide network of trained Allies who will shape a campus culture that values and celebrates the sexual orientation and gender identity/expression of students, staff and faculty at UT Dallas. Ally Training provides a venue for LGBTQIA people, Allies and participants to learn about issues affecting the LGBTQIA campus and surrounding community, and to ask questions. After completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate, SAFE ZONE logo, resources, and will be equipped with the tools necessary to respond appropriately, know resources and/or where to find them, and show support and safeguard the rights of LGBTQIA people.
