Saving Monarchs says
On 106 acres, just 3 miles outside of downtown Dallas, sits an oasis for wildlife – the Dallas Zoo. We're looking for folks who are willing to get a little dirty, and have a lot of fun, while saving monarch butterflies as they pass through Dallas during their long fall migration to Mexico.

You'll be a be part of our Wild Earth Action Team restoring monarch habitat and creating a new butterfly area at the Dallas Zoo. Together, we'll plant native milkweed and nectar plants, and learn about the magnificant and troubled monarch butterfly.

In the past 22 years, monarchs have declined by 68%. They need our help now more than ever.

Preregistration is required. Registration is $15 for Dallas Zoo members and $25 for non-members and includes:

• Coffee and breakfast snacks
• Zoo admission and free parking
• A discount coupon for lunch at the Zoo
• Supplies to make your own monarch habitat at home
