Scott Kelly holds the distinction of spending more time in space than any other American astronaut – a total of 382 days. Prior to retiring in April 2016, Kelly commanded the International Space Station for a year and wowed the world with photographs from space. Kelly is the second Tate speaker for the 35th season named to the 2015 TIME 100. Come see him speak November 1st in McFarlin Auditorium!

Student tickets will be available starting at 7pm in the basement of McFarlin, but also check with your commons for extra student tickets.

The Tate Lecture Series Student Forum is a free question-and-answer session for SMU students, faculty and staff with the featured Tate speaker. Come to the ballroom at Hughes-Trigg at 4:30 on November 1st to ask any questions you have for Scott Kelly!
