The somatic lab is designed specifically for students and teachers of yoga and any other somatic discipline who are interested in continuing their education in an exploratory way. Together we’ll learn to develop a more sophisticated way of seeing self and others by engaging with key somatic principles to become more embodied.

April 30 - Exploring the balance between support and mobility

This is a unique workshop in which participants will use the asana practice as a launching pad for a more deeply embodied experience finding a language in which to make sense out of our internal world. We will work on our own, with partners and in a group setting which will include hands on touch explorations, looking and sharing through dialogue, and time to observe ourselves and each other in a laboratory setting. Each session will begin with a guided somatization which will then set the stage for deeper explorations and discoveries.
