Spring Break Kickoff

Time Out says

The sun is shining and school is out! On March 7, join us as we kick off Spring Break 2015 by closing streets for our first-ever daytime block party. From 10am until 4pm, the Crow Collection of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center and Klyde Warren Park will host special activities like family yoga, scavenger hunts, art-making, guided tours and more! We will also feature outdoor musicians sponsored by The Dallas Foundation. Head down the block for free architecture tours of the AT&T Performing Arts Center. But that's not all! Kids will be able to register for Dallas City of Learning at the event and earn digital badges for activities they participate in throughout the day. Launching this summer, Dallas City of Learning will give kids ages 6 to 18 the chance to discover learning opportunities throughout the city and online. Explore new interests, collect badges and earn prizes! And don’t forget to come hungry! Some of the best gourmet food trucks in town will be offering a variety of sweet and savory fare. Plus, newly opened Yolk. will be serving up breakfast and lunch, and Jorges TexMex Cafe will be open for lunch, just down the street in One Arts Plaza in Dallas Arts District (which will offer garage parking all day!).
