The event creator says
The inaugural Stripped: Deconstructed | Reconstructed is an event and exhibition, displaying powerful and emotion-packed works that depict and personalize the breast cancer journey; a journey that truly leaves no one untouched by the weight of this disease.

The evening will feature a provocative art installation by director Tom De Nolf that conceptualizes the impact of breast cancer by featuring women who have battled breast cancer as well as those unaffected by breast cancer thus alluding to the ubiquitous, undiscriminating nature of the disease.

Stripped for Cancer has also commissioned an exclusive series of photographs each movingly illustrating and exposing the body, emotion, strength and spirit of breast cancer warriors with conceptual work captured by leading photographers.

The Goss-Michael Foundation’s Alex Prager: Face in the Crowd exhibit will also be on view.

The evening will also feature a special performance by internationally acclaimed opera tenor and humanitarian James Valenti, along with pianist Mary Dibbern. The 2015 event is presented by BDO USA LLP and is in part made possible by sponsors including Negative Underwear, Black Book Ink, El Bolero, Le Bilboquet, Roof Tile & Slate Company, Deep Eddy Vodka, and Studio 204. Ticket are $100. To reserve tickets or for additional information, visit
