Learn the art and craft of hand-making Super-8mm films on black & white reversal film! This will be a hands-on class designed for the beginner that covers all aspects of Super-8mm filmmaking: cameras, angle, story, timing (exposure), lighting, in-camera editing, and projection. Students will work together in groups of 3-4 to conceive, shoot and edit their own silent one-reel films. Film will be processed on site! All equipment and materials will be provided for. Finished projects will be presented after the conclusion of the course.

Workshop includes: 8 hour classroom instruction session, Kodak TRI-X Super-8mm film, film processing demo, access to camera equipment, and Super-8mm projectors, informational course packet, HD video transfer of finished film by Dijifi, HD online hosting of finished film.
