THE HILLTOP CRAWLERS have been playing to highly satisfied crowds and are known as one of Dallas' best original ROCK live acts since forming in early 2013. Their sound is a mix of the Grateful Dead’s highly musical jams with the hook-focused rock n' roll of Tom Petty or the Rolling Stones. Founding members Don McCann and Eric Snead started The Hilltop Crawlers after playing 70+ shows together in an early 90’s rock cover band in Dallas. From there, Jeff Zimm and Carlos Villalobos have filled in the sound that has become the “THC SOUND.” You can expect a different setlist every show and also some real rock n' roll deep album cuts mixed in like “One More Saturday Night" by the Grateful Dead, “Loving Cup” by the Rolling Stones or "Ophelia" by The Band. Being a mostly original band, The Hilltop Crawlers have a growing fan base and will continue to push the limits and expectations as original music bands should.
