One of the best of the many Italian films inspired by John Carpenter's Escape From New York, solidly directed by exploitation master Sergio Martino and loaded with action, punk fashions, dwarves, gore, cyborgs, and a great synth score by Oliver Onions. Michael Sopkiw (Blastfighter, Devil Fish) stars as the Snake Plissken clone Parsifal along with a cast of eurosleaze regulars including Edmund Purdom, Hal Yamanouchi, and George Eastman as "Big Ape". It would have cost you $1.50 to catch this on a double bill at the Texas back in the 80s but Tuesday night we're giving it away for FREE! Show starts 9:15 PM.
