Christopher Ernst became involved with live music playing in bands with friends as a teenager and continued to do so for some years in Upstate NY & NYC. In 2010, he began releasing music in earnest under the name Penalune, debuting with the album 'Less of the Same' for STL's Something Records. Following a handful of other album releases, he founded Voodoo Down Records in 2012, which also saw the debut of his L'estasi Dell'oro artist name for techno-related sounds and ideas. There have been numerous records in the time since and many more to come through the distant future.

Radere is the alias of Carl Ritger, a sound artist currently living and working in Denver, Colorado. His work primarily explores the shadowy gulf that exists between drone and noise, blurring guitars, location recordings and electronics into densely textured sonic monoliths. Radere’s recordings have found their way to light via a slew of independent labels, including Full Spectrum, Moodgadget, basic_sounds and Futuresequence. He also conducts ongoing collaborations with Offthesky, Ten And Tracer, Cody Yantis and Anduin; as well as John Templeton, alongside whom he comprises the experimental techno vehicle Coward.

Since 2006, Normal Ones have sought to find a unique approach when presenting their music, which they believe is best experienced in a live context. Their visceral and emotive live electronic compositions span many musical territories stretching from dark and melodic electro to spatial textures and electronic dub. Each Normal Ones live performance is presented from the heart with every intention to help elevate and inspire the spirit of anyone who cares to observe and listen.

Oren Ratowsky is a producer from San Fransisco. Shortly after moving to Montreal, he co-founded the label Booma Collective, which was showcased in Denver as Nocturnal's second installation late last year. As a producer of both dance and ambient music we are excited to welcome him back to represent the open spaces that brought our awareness to Booma initially.
