Exhibition Dates: April 1 - May 1

DATELINE is pleased to announce our 24th exhibition -
Featuring works by Jack Estenssoro and paintings by Paul Keefe.

Jack Estenssoro was born in 1990 in Denver, Colorado. After spending his early life in Colorado, Jack spent his first two years of college in Madrid, Spain and half a year in Beijing, China. He studied and received his degree in graphic design in 2015.

Estenssoro's work deals with many aspects of life and and is inspired by the influence visual language has on the ways people interpret their culture and their personal realities. Popular media of any time period provides some of the biggest insight into people’s current evaluation of life. His sense of humor is intricately tied to his observation and interpretation of pop culture. He is also influenced by a scientific analysis of reality. Jack's work draws influence from the concepts found in quantum physics and the unfathomable complexity of the world we live in.

Paul Keefe is a painter, drawer, and printmaker from Denver, Colorado. After completing the MFA program at the University of Kansas, he worked as a studio assistant at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Colorado.

Keefe's small paintings on canvas discuss themes of loss, longing, and failure through comical and inventive scenarios. The work, both self deprecating and vain, somber and humorous, addresses the complexities of the human condition and the function of art itself.

After First Friday work will be available in the flat file for viewing and purchase through the 1st of May.
