DATELINE says
Hello Friends,

Join us in welcoming Matt Scobey back to Denver. He has recently returned from a 10 week residency in Mexico City facilitated by Artplant, Biennial of the Americas, and SOMA Mexico.

Matt will be using the gallery as a studio and hosting a series of events and happenings that explore the ideas of process and community. Stay tuned to Dateline’s FB and IG accounts for announcements regarding happenings, open studio, and gallery hours.

We are titling the residency project Tranquilo, a word that means to relax or chill, become mellow or tranquil. It also has connotation regarding knack or ‘getting the hang of something’.

Specifically in regards to work, ‘tranquilo’ can refer to a special habit acheived through repetition and once achieved it is easier to perform. The end of the residency will be marked by a small closing reception TBA.

Please join us for the first chill out session with light fare and an opportunity to hangout with the artist this Saturday April 4th from 2-5PM
