Denver Mercury Slam Featuring "Guys Like Us"

Beau Williams, Ryan McLellan, and Wil Gibson are just “guyslikeyou.” Between them, they have traveled across the country reading poems in bars, colleges, living rooms, high schools, coffee shops, prisons, rehab centers, and anywhere else they were asked or given an opportunity. They have been on semifinals and finals stages in poetry slams nationwide, and have won a few along the way, but had fun at all of them. They have been awarded fellowships multiple times, been homeless, been broken, been blessed, and have grown thankful for everything along the way. Collectively, they have been published hundreds of times and places, including six full length collections (and counting). They are guys who have made mistakes, made a mess, and made a difference. They are guys who have learned from all of these things, and hope to show others how to fix what they want, and change what they can. They are just "guyslikeyou."
