Duey and The Decibels is a Denver, CO band created by Bassist and Vocalist, David Edward DuArt. Duey’s musical focus is on creative song writing and thick grooves. With an appreciation for every style of music known to the humanity, Duey’s shows can cover ample genres. What stands out in the live performance is his love for Americana, Hard Rock, Funk, and Improvisation. It’s a style that allows the listener to dance, rock out with friends and sing along to catchy choruses in turn allowing those in attendance to experience life in the moment reflecting on the positivity of ones environment.

The band members are a revolving cast of Colorado Musicians. The music is whatever it wants to be and is often decided by who is playing as a Decibel. Ideally the music is created by playing to the strengths of the musicians that are partaking in the specific performance.

Duey has been touring nationally with his main project Yamn, a progressive electro rock outfit, from Denver, CO for 10+ years. He is the brain child behind, Rally ‘Round the Family, a Rage Against the Machine cover band based out of Denver. He is often hired by many musicians throughout Colorado to perform at various gigs across the state.
