Denver Museum of Nature & Science says
Robots are becoming more advanced all the time, but their underlying mechanisms of motion are relatively constant. In this workshop, you'll build cams that spin, hydraulics that push, and levers to change work. These simple mechanisms are the main drivers of very complex systems and machines. Enjoy building and creating as you gain new ways to make simple machines relevant across many grade levels. Then revel in our latest temporary exhibition, Robot Revolution (supported by Google.org with additional major support from The Boeing Company).

For teachers of grades 3-8.

This workshop is a collaboration between the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the Resource Area for Teachers (RAFT).
