The event creator says
Dear friends, this is a very rare occasion to have my band playing my music in such a concert setting, and I would be honored if, and strongly recommend that you check it out. As usual, there are many bands playing simultaneously so, whether you go al a carte with some Danette Holowell or Lynn Baker (for example), or watch our entire "headliner" set unfold at the Crossroads Theater (preferred), please join me and my merry band of talented players for some unplugged prog. In addition to my music, there will be a composition by the late, great Mike Whited (Sr.) and, time permitting, one by the late, great Joe Bonner.
I'll be playing acoustic piano exclusively, with the following bandmates:

Derek Banach (trumpet), a member of my band The Emergency Broadcast Players as well as Kaveh Rastegar's band Cornbread, back in the 90s, Derek also performed more recently with my band Hate Camels In Love (which is essentially this band under a different name) and music from his album "Tugende" appears alongside music from my "Donut Storm" in the 2014 documentary "Neal Cassady; The Denver Years". Derek has been playing regularly in recent years, especially with some Latin music projects.

Thomas Haupt (guitars), a steady member of Hate Camels In Love since 2012, Thomas performs constantly, with such bands and artists as the aforementioned Danette Holowell, Soul Explosion, Salem and many others.

Bill McCrossen (acoustic bass). Bill moved back to Colorado from New York recently, and has been the hardest-working bassist in town since then, performing with a wide variety of innovators such as Art Lande, Carmen Sandim and Anisha Rush, to name a few.

Hogans Daniel (drums), a young man who is currently taking the "scene" by storm, playing with cream-of-the-crop artists such as Gabe Mervine and Brad Goode.
Here is the full schedule of the festival. Many of our peers and favorites are playing, including a few at the same time: http://artsandvenuesdenver.com/event/397509
