We know that too much testing takes time away from learning. We know that misuse of tests has robbed our students of the valuable opportunity to connect one-on-one with their educators.
Our students need #TimeToLearn and our educators need #TimeToTeach. Great schools give students time for one-on-one attention and instruction, and inspire natural curiosity, creativity, and a desire to learn. We need to teach skills in critical thinking and problem-solving through a well-rounded education that includes writing, math, science, history, arts and physical education. We need to deliver support services, like nutrition, health, and after-school programs, for our students in need.
