Conservation Colorado says
Join the Strelitz family and Conservation Colorado to celebrate the life and legacy of Rebecca Strelitz, a dedicated and passionate member of the conservation community.

TRVE Brewing will be hosting a pint night and silent auction to raise money for the internship program that brought Becca to Conservation Colorado. Join us for beers and make a few bids to help us protect the state Rebecca fought so hard for.

In 2015, we lost a dear friend and colleague, Becca Strelitz. Becca was an organizer at Conservation Colorado for several years, and one of the places she loved most was Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River. She began her work with us as an intern and then led our organizing efforts between 2014 and 2015 to protect the area permanently as a national monument. This was one of her proudest accomplishments, and it will continue to be a meaningful legacy for future generations.

Becca lived a life full of love and passion, and she will be dearly missed by not just the board and staff of Conservation Colorado, but by the many whose lives she touched in the conservation community across the state. In her honor, a memorial fund was established at Conservation Colorado. This fund will be dedicated to providing support for our internship program. Since Becca started her time at Conservation Colorado as an intern, it is fitting to continue her legacy by making it possible for diverse and enthusiastic interns to learn with us.
