Please mark your calendars and join us on Thursday, April 2nd from 12-2pm as we launch the CCASA Digital Storytelling Project, host an awards ceremony, and enjoy a performance by the Rocky Mountain Youth Dance Foundation! You can also enjoy amazing refreshments from Delicious & Divine.

About the CCASA Digital Storytelling Project:
Launching in SAAM, our hope is to create digital stories that can expand the public understanding of sexual violence in Colorado and deepen our collective community commitment to supporting survivors and preventing this crime.

SAAM Awards Ceremony:
Colorado Visionary Voice Award honors a person who has done outstanding work for survivors in our state. This year, we recognize Jessica Ladd-Webert, Director of the CU-Boulder Office for Victim Assistance, for the work she has done on the federal and state level for survivors of campus sexual assault.

The Legislative Excellence Award will be given to Senator Linda Newell for her work to pass Senate Bill 20, Colorado’s version of Erin’s Law.

The Media Excellence Award will be given to Shaun Boyd, CBS Channel 4, for her
dedication to dispelling myths about sexual violence, breaking the silence surrounding this crime, and providing survivor-centered coverage of sexual violence and related topics.
