What is Shamanism?
Shamanism is one of the earliest spiritual practices known to human kind and evidence of it was found on every continent. It spans across faiths and cultures reaching a deep cellular memory of our own true nature. Using percussion to alter the brain state, the shamanic practitioner communicates with helping spirits on behalf of the client or self to support healing on the spiritual, emotional, and physical planes.

About these trainings:
These trainings are designed to give students practice in their own direct relationship with their helping spirits and guides. They can give students a strong foundation in shamanic skill and practice. The true practice of shamanism is based on your direct relationship with your helpers and guides. Shamanism is an oral tradition taught through repetition and is a results oriented practice. For students with a professional practice, these classes will help to enhance your practice. For those who are just beginning, these classes provide a good experience and practice because your helping spirits always meet you where you are.

There will be a shamanic training in a foundational practice every other month from September-May. During the in-between months, a drop-in class on deepening your practice will be held. These classes are for applied practice and integration in shamanic journeying.

Shamanic Journeying experience is needed for all classes except for Beginning Shamanic Journeying. For all other classes besides Beginning Shamanic Journeying there will be an application. Please email Rachel directly at shineyourbrightlight@gmail.com for an application.
