Speak Up: Decide The Future Of Browns Canyon says
Browns Canyon National Monument protects a unique landscape along the east bank of the Arkansas River, a cherished getaway for whitewater rafting, fishing and hiking. This true Colorado treasure generates more than $55 million per year in economic activity for the local economy.

President Obama officially designated the monument in 2015, but that doesn’t mean the job of protecting it is done. Right now is the public’s first important opportunity to provide input to the BLM and Forest Service on how this monument should be managed for the next two decades.

Decisions made right now will determine how we protect wildlife habitat, cultural resources and outdoor recreation opportunities in Browns Canyon for future generations. Please join us in Denver on October 27 to lay a strong foundation for a Browns Canyon that endures through the ages!
