Naropa University proudly presents Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor, internationally recognized neuroanatomist, New York Times best-selling author, and one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. Her extraordinary and personal story is designed to inspire and educate those who are interested in how compassion, science, and transformational wellness aid in the road to brain injury recovery.

Join peers, colleagues, and friends for this exclusive one-night engagement for Colorado’s medical, psychology, and therapeutic communities. Whether you are a practicing physician, clinical therapist, caregiver, or family member of a brain injury survivor, Dr. Taylor's fascinating story and pathway to recovery will guide you through the ways in which the brain frames our lives—often in contradictory, unexplainable ways.

This evening will be opened with a performance by MIX. Known for their originality and creativity, this a cappella group has won many awards including the Rocky Mountain Sweepstakes and SoJam and first place in Mile High Vocal Jam and Boston Sings. Their recent albums include Breaking Ground and Edifice!

This event is the opening keynote for Compassion Without Limit: Mindful Paths to Transforming the World, a two-day conference at Naropa University.
