The Amazing Traveling Silent Auction (Part 2) says
LUPEC (Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails) presents, The Amazing Traveling Silent Auction to benefit the Prom Dress Exchange (

Starting Friday June 3rd LUPEC will be landing every Friday in June at a different location in the Denver area to conduct a fabulous silent auction. They have partnered with four local bars and restaurants at the four cardinal points around Denver for fun and fundraising happy hour events:

Mell’s Cheese in the Highlands
3000 Zuni St, Denver

6/10 East:
The Good Son in Capitol Hill
2550 E Colfax Ave, Denver

6/17 North:
Finn’s Manor in RiNo

LUPEC hopes to encourage folks to sail along with them through the city, visiting all the locations and hopefully discovering their new favorite eating or drinking oasis. Anyone who does make it to all four events will get a free Deep Eddy cocktail at the last location, Gary Lee’s. LUPEC will be passing out “Passports” at Mell’s Cheese on June 3rd and will give out stamps at each stop to traveling participants.

Each week will feature 4-5 new silent auction items. Items in the auction that do not meet the reserve will “travel” on to the next location.

Here's a few of our items to give you an idea of what will be available:

LUPEC Denver Mission:
Besides ensuring the renewed enjoyment of classic cocktails at functions throughout the year, LUPEC Denver raises funding to support local and national organizations that look out for the health and welfare of women and children in the Denver metro area.

The collecting of anachronistic recipes by women and the resulting creation of endangered cocktails in an all-woman setting is intended to achieve the following goals:
- To continue the 150 year American tradition of dangerous women calling themselves Ladies and getting together in groups, clubs and societies to work undercover while they chipped away at the patriarchy.
- To protect the collective Joie de Vivre of LUPEC members by assuring them at least one good party a month.
- To encourage the accumulation and use of vintage serving and barware.
- To use our talents and resources to give back to our community.

Prom Dress Exchange’s annual event is held in the spring, before prom. For questions or information about Prom Dress Exchange and their event, please contact Donations of formal wear can also be dropped off at several locations, year round and locations are listed at
