The Tiny Library Concerts are back in October - starting with the award-winning mountain bluegrass of Caribou Mountain Collective!

Hailing from Nederland, Caribou Mountain Collective (cariboumountaincollective.com) plays original mountain music that channels the rich traditions of both Appalachia and Colorado bluegrass. Winners of the 2014 RockyGrass Festival Band Competition, CMC represents the next step in the ongoing revolution of roots music. The band features the lightning finger-picking of dobro player Allen Cooke (2013 RockyGrass dobro champion) and banjo player George Guthrie. Bassist Curly Collins brings his remarkable stage presence and expertise from five years with Mountain Standard Time. Guitarist Miles Perry masterfully embodies the mountain heritage through his rich voice and catalog of original works. The band's instrumental expertise shines through Miles' songs, presenting a captivating new approach to a classic sound.

Tickets are $9 for History Colorado members, $12 for non-members.

History Colorado's Tiny Library Concert series features local Colorado performers in the unusual and intimate setting of the museum's Stephen H. Hart Library & Research Center. Beer, wine, and cocktails available for purchase.

The Tiny Library Concert series is generously supported by Airshow Mastering.
