Time Out says

JETAA Rocky Mountain is excited to announce a special screening of the film TOHOKU TOMO at the SIE Film Center (2510 E. Colfax, Denver) at 2pm on Sunday, March 15th. This event is free to attend and friends and family are welcome! We would like to use this opportunity to raise money for helping rebuilding efforts, and suggest a minimum donation of $10 which will go to the Taylor Anderson Memorial Fund, supporting recovery efforts in the Tohoku region. JETAA Rocky Mountain is offering concession tickets for a soda and popcorn to the first 80 people who make a donation. Click the "tickets available" link above to make a donation and reserve your concession ticket! TOHOKU TOMO is a film about the aftermath of the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami on the Tohoku region - but rather than focusing on the destruction and loss, it showcases the results of the recovery efforts and the hope that has re-infused the area, offering an inspirational and uplifting take on where things stand now. As a special bonus, director and JET Alum Wesley Julian will be present to discuss the making of the film and a Q&A session afterwards. Learn more about the film at their website, TohokuTomo.com We look forward to seeing you there! Please feel free to share this event and invite anyone you think may be interested!
