From Portland, Oregon – Tony Furtado, the renowned slide-guitarist, award-winning banjo player and singer/songwriter, is embarking on an 8 date tour throughout Colorado and New Mexico previewing his soon to be released CD, Cider House Sessions - Live at Reverend Nat's. Largely drawing from a 30 years deep reservoir of original and traditional songs and tunes and featuring a few songs from his 2015 Indie Acoustic Project award winning release, The Bell, Tony along with ace musicians mandolinist Matt Flinner (Modern Mandolin Quartet), fiddler Luke Price (two-time national fiddle champion), and Rob Burger on accordion (Tin Hat Trio, Iron and Wine) performed and recorded a set of music that has been called vibrant, fun, explosive, introspective...LIVE! The recording was culled from a series of performances at a cider brewery and taproom (Reverend Nat's Hard Cider in Portland OR), providing quite an ambience for those who saw the show live and now for those listening to the recordings.

Tony speaking about the recording said, “For years I've wanted to have an album in my catalogue that has the feel and ease of a show played in my living room with a few friends I love to share tunes and songs with, surrounded by more friends who just want to hear us play and laugh, lights dimmed, and a few 3,000 gallon tanks of cider brewing behind me!” He now brings this experience on the road throughout Colorado and New Mexico from January 26th through February 4th in what continues to be an annual tour in the Rockies, minus the Reverend Nat’s cider, of course. Joining Tony for these dates are champion fiddler Luke Price, and Colorado native bassist Eric Thorin. eTown’s own Christian Teele (drums) will be joining the trio for the Swallow Hill performance on February 3rd. Pre-release copies of the CD will be available at all dates.
