This week Emunah is teaching an intermediate class on getting comfy in your skin and balancing your movement with stillness while building vernacular. The fundamentals class will get you rooted in blues basics and dancing on the floor in no time. (For those of you looking forward to taking a class with Kara and Jes Cutler, be sure to come to this class and all of our classes next month!)
Emunah will also be sharing her awesome DJ skills with us this week! She's been immersed in blues culture and history for the better half of a decade and loves watching "The Spirit Move" on the floor.
The Mercury Cafe Denver is a colorful venue with a restaurant, full bar and spacious dance floor. For the eclectic and curious there are even tarot card readings.
It's not your ordinary dance hall.
Progressive Series Lesson 7:00 cost $5
Fundamental lesson at 8:00 cost $5
Dance at 9:00 PM: $8
After 10:45pm: $5
(People who pay to attend the progressive series classes can attend the fundamental class free.)
We run on "-ish" time round here, so take it easy.
