We will have a Bicycle Raffle presented by Harley McClellan and Tread Lite Bicycles benefitting Team First Descents!!
We are excited to have this great addition at our Summer Sizzler this year!
As part of a fund raising effort to benefit First Descents, a charity organization focused on sending young adults with terminal cancer on adventure trips, we are offering a Tread Lite singlespeed city bike up to the winner of the raffle.
Tread Lite is a locally owned, Denver based bicycle company that builds small batch city bikes perfect for riding around town. For every bicycle sold, Tread Lite plants one tree.
Bicycle offered in the drawing may differ in color to the picture above and on the website. The actual bike being offered will be at the event and available to take home at the end of the evening. Winning ticket holder must be present to collect their prize. Raffle winner will be drawn after intermission.
A little background on First Descents and what they do:
“First Descents offers young adults impacted by cancer a life-changing outdoor adventure experience, empowering them to climb, paddle and surf beyond their diagnosis and connect with others doing the same.
During First Descents programs, young adult survivors and fighters are empowered through conquering legitimate outdoor challenges to push their limits and face their fears, and by doing so, they are able to regain the confidence and self-efficacy lost to cancer. “
1 ticket: $5
5 tickets: $20
If you cannot attend the event and would like to donate to Harley's fundraiser to support First Descents, you may do so here:
