W&G Takeover Series #8: Trick Dog May 5th 8th says
In partnership with William Grant & Sons, we are proud to announce the 8th installment of our "Takeover Series." Over the past three years Williams & Graham has brought many of the United States' best cocktail bars to you. We have opened our doors and let some of the nation's best take control of our bar.

This time, while our staff heads out on our annual family vacation, San Francisco's Trick Dog, helmed by The Bon Vivants, will be taking over our beloved little bar...

It's W&G's house, but for four nights, Thursday May 5th to Sunday May 8th, it'll be The Bon Vivants and Trick Dog's rules. Their menus, music and vibe. Hell, the guys might even open a window (yes, W&G has a window!). Trick Dog will adhere to capacity issues of the space, But guests can simply walk in, belly up and order a drink. Reservations are unavailable for the four day stint.

Under the direction of Morgan Schick, creative director, Trick Dog, one of San Francisco's most beloved and celebrated bars, will be popping up in Denver and bringing its signature West Coast style to the Mile High City.

Trick Dog overhauls its entire menu every six months; the newest menu, which debuted in January, is even more mysterious than usual: Trick Dog: Top Secret is inspired by conspiracy theories from around the world, and takes its shape in the form of a classified government file from Trick Dog's faux agency, Bureau of Advanced Research & Conspiracy (a.k.a. BARC). The dossier is full of redacted details and mysterious photos of long-contested "facts" - drinks such as Bigfoot, Area 51 and Elvis Sighting. Never-before-seen-photos, and proof in the form of a video, can be seen here and here.

In addition to the Trick Dog: Top Secret menu, Morgan and the team will serve a few surprise highballs, shots & boilermakers. Although many pertinent details have been removed from the official menu - because you never know who's watching - full drink recipes for each of the Top Secret cocktails are available online at www.trickdogbar.com.

The Bon Vivants (co-founded by Josh Harris and Scott Baird) opened Trick Dog in San Francisco's Mission District in 2013, quickly earning a James Beard Foundation Award nomination in 2015 for Outstanding Bar Program. Trick Dog has also earned the accolade of having the Best American Bar team at the Spirited Awards in 2014 and in 2015, has been named one of the World's 50 Best Bars, and was a finalist for the World's Best Cocktail Menu and Best American Cocktail Bar (which W&G has won).
