Watercolor Painting with Custom Frame Making
Two Sessions
Thursday, April 7th 7-9pm & Thursday, April 14th 7-9pm
Take your painting game to the next level, as you learn both watercolor painting and woodworking to create a framed piece of artwork. The first session of this two part workshop will allow you to explore basic materials and techniques for watercolor painting, where painter Kelley Schei will demonstrate the basics of watercolor materials and techniques and mixing colors. After some time to experiment and personalized instruction, you’ll create a finished piece. In the second session, Heather Mullins from Relevant Reuse will teach you the basics of woodworking as you construct a custom frame to make your piece of art a finished product.
$100 includes two three-hour workshop sessions, wood, glass, frame backing materials, and watercolor paper and paints to use.

Reservations must be made through our EventBrite ticketing link.
Class will be canceled if less than four folks have signed up 48 hours prior to the event, our teachers need time to purchase and prepare materials.
If a class has to be cancelled, participants will be notified and payment will be refunded.
