This workshop includes a grounding Hatha yoga warm up & cool down, discussion of belly dance orgins, history, & various styles, breakdown of basic belly dance moves, repetition of those moves(drills), & a short choreography.
Learn to move in sensual ways that strengthens the body/mind connection & invokes inner sultry energy. In this workshop, you will get a balanced Hatha yoga practice, gain basic knowledge of this ancient art form & be able to feel great about your body inside & out. Build confidence! No previous belly dance experience necessary. You do not have to be coordinated or a good dancer. Open to all levels. Gentlemen welcomed. Yes, there are many amazing male belly dancers!
Please wear form fitting, comfy yoga/belly dance garb, hip wrap or coin belt(optional). Bring water. Middrif exposure is optional. Bring your smiles and your open mind!
