The National Black MBA Association® Detroit Chapter is proud to announce its 31st Annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner on Thursday, August 13, 2015, Dearborn Inn, 20301 Oakwood, Dearborn, MI 48124.

The purpose of this gala is to award scholarships to Metro Detroit Area students pursuing degrees in business and also to recognize those corporate partners who have provided support to the Detroit Chapter.

Our theme this year is "Forward Thinking, Forward Moving". Attendees of this event are business leaders from the Metro Detroit Area. The Scholarship and Awards Dinner is the premier event for the Detroit Chapter and boasts a very impressive list of past keynote speakers including George Jackson, Gail Perry Mason, Tavis Smiley, Dr. Reginald Eadie, Dave Bing, Edsel Ford, Mike Duggan, to name a few.

The National Black MBA Association® Detroit Chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and has served the Metropolitan area since 1976. Our goals include providing skill development opportunities to professionals and assisting our corporate partners by sponsoring recruitment activities.

With the help of our corporate sponsors, we have awarded over $375,000 in scholarships to deserving high school, undergraduate and graduate school students over the past 39 years. We would appreciate your support in helping us continue this legacy by accepting the title of participating supporter at our 31st Annual Scholarship and Awards Dinner. Ads for the souvenir journal are available for purchase and will be placed in the book in order of receipt.
