A WORLD PREMIERE inspired by the spirit of southwest Detroit running February 26 - March 20

agua de luna (psalms for the rouge)

By Caridad Svich, winner of the 2012 Obie Award for Lifetime Achievement

Directed by Sherrine Azab

This bilingual production traces the personal lives of three couples as they are intertwined with the life of Teresa de Los Angeles, a woman of 108 years. Written in close-up snapshots of ache, hunger, passion, and missed connections amongst this community of individuals, it is a story of those often "left behind" who want the possibility of a better life. It's about surviving, taking stock in memories, and believing in the everyday magic that may be possible in all of our lives.

Featuring Samer Ajluni, Torri Lynn Ashford, Amy Choudhury Martin, Candace P. Hale, Bethany Hedden, Chris Jakob, Myrna Segura, and Justino Solis

With design work by Christina Killmar, Gwen Lindsay, Billy Mark, Dorothy Melander-Dayton, and Amy Schneider, and dramaturgy by Emily Mendelsohn. The production stage manager is Maddy Rager.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3PM, February 26 - March 20. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors.
