Lynn Crawford is a novelist and arts writer living and working in Detroit. Shankus & Kitto, Black Square Editions, is her newest novel. Earlier books include Fortification Resort (a selection of art related sestinas) and the novels Simply Separate People and Simply Separate People, Two. She is a Kresge Literary Arts Fellow and a Rauschenberg Writing Fellow.

Matvei Yankelevich is the author of Alpha Donut (United Artists), Boris by the Sea (Octopus), and Some Worlds for Dr. Vogt, recently released by Black Square Editions, as well as the translator of Today I Wrote Nothing: The Selected Writings of Daniil Kharms. Some may know him as a founding member of the Ugly Duckling Presse volunteer editorial collective. He works several jobs, including teaching gigs at Columbia University's School of the Arts, Queens College, and has been Writing Faculty at the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College for seven summers. During the spring of 2014 he was Resident Director of Salt & Cedar in Detroit's Eastern Market.
