he Hannan Literary Center hosts its Second Annual P&W Writers’ Workshop. Acclaimed California author Heather Bourbeau will facilitate the four days of creative nonfiction and poetry workshops, and perform a reading of her works. The event is free and open to the public.

Ms. Bourbeau taught Creative Nonfiction at the Art Studio at the University of California Berkeley and was a contributing editor to the New York Times’ bestseller “Not on Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Dafur and Beyond.” Her first collection of poetry, "Daily Palm Castings," profiles people in overlooked professions.
