Resident DJ Vincent Patricola aka DJ Shortround is joined by Tink Thomas and Gari Romalis

DJ, publisher, producer, tastemaker and so much more, Vincent Patricola is a renaissance man of the Detroit music scene. From Detroit to New York, Vince has been an influential figure.

Vince’s love affair with electronic music began when he heard Mike Huckaby playing Carl Craig's "The Climax" at Record Time in Roseville back in 1995 or so. Despite not really knowing too much about DJing at the time, he quickly got up to speed. Working and shopping at Record Time also helped him understand more about music and the art of DJing. Sharing a common bond in music, he became friends with other DJs and musicians in the area.

He has since became one of the most respected characters in the music scene in Detroit, playing from his extensive collection of vinyl at venues around town and publishing his quarterly periodical on electronic music, DEQ.

You can catch Vince playing an eclectic mix of everything from jazz, lounge, soul, house, and low pressure techno as he takes residence at The Whisky Parlor every Friday.
