Detroit Historical Museum says
Do you know of a family or community member with a 1967 story to tell? Would you like to learn how to conduct an oral history with them? We are hosting FREE workshops to share tips and bast practices for conducting oral history interviews.
During these workshops participants will learn the basics of conducting oral history interviews, from how to prepare, what questions to ask (and to not ask), how to work with recording equipment, the process of transcribing your interview and how to submit your interview to the Detroit 1967 Project.

Register online for our Thursday, August 4 workshop at http://www.detroit1967.org/event/learn-to-conduct-oral-histories-workshop-3/

If you would prefer not to register online, email your preferred date and number of participants to detroit1967@detroithistorical.org, or call 313.833.7912.
