Join Hands On at Hatch Art for a wonderful and exciting summer art camp! Every day your child will focus on making different projects led by local professional artists! Age appropriate projects will range from 2-D, 3-D, Sound, Video and Performance art!

$40 per day for the first child, $20 per day for the second... buddy up! You child does not have to be related to the second and you can split the buddy system with different age groups.

Hands On at Hatch Art: Summer Art Camp! can be registered by per day or by per week! Ages 5-9 will have camp from 9am - 12pm and ages 10-15 will have camp from 1pm - 4pm, starting June 20th and ending August 26th.

Week 2: Printing with Alice V Schneider
June 27th – July 1st

Overview: Put it in Print!
Week two’s workshops will focus on print making! We will learn how to make potato prints, screen printing, monotypes and block printing!

Day One: What makes a print a print?
Students will learn what makes a print a PRINT and utilize sketchbooks to thumbnails concepts for the week

Day Two: Potato Prints
Students will make prints out of Idaho potatoes

Day Three: Monotypes!
Students will learn about monotype prints!

Day Four: Block Printing!
Older students will carve into wood and linoleum blocks to make relief prints!

Day Five: Screen Printing and Transfers
Students will learn how to screen print a tote bag and also how to make an ink transfer.
