Detroit native, historian, author, activist, and speaker Dr. Heather Ann Thompson will be the keynote speaker discussing the 45th Anniversary of the Attica Prison Murders with moderator Dr. Toussaint Losier. Also featured will be a free screening of "Criminal Injustice: Death and Politics at Attica" and pre-reception and book signing with Dr. Thompson for, “Blood in the Water: The Attica Prison Uprising of 1971 and Its Legacy.”
