Detroit Contemporary says
Null Point, an experimental music/sound art ensemble from Buffalo, NY, presents "Hot/Cool: Virtuosities in Experimental Concert Music" in Detroit as part of their 2015 tour.

Exploring contrasting approaches to musical virtuosity: Hot -- extroverted, often flamboyant virtuosity, featured in works by Kourliandski, Hayden, Merritt, and Tucker -- alternates with cool -- a subtle, introverted, fragile virtuosity, featured in works by Houben, Kudirka, Shiomi. The evening features regional premieres of works by established (Kourliandski, Houben) and emerging (Hayden, Kudirka, Merritt, Tucker) living composers, as well as new interpretations of a neglected Fluxus masterpiece (Shiomi).
