Pure Detroit Guardian Building Tour — Saturday, March 14 @ 1pm

Pure Detroit invites you to tour Detroit's 1929 Wirt Rowland-designed architectural masterpiece this Saturday! The tour begins at our Pure Detroit shop located in the Guardian Building on the promenade level. See first hand the intricate design and exquisite detail of Rowland's artisitc achievement, including works by muralist Erza Winter, tile installations by Pewabic's Mary Chase Stratton and sculpture by Corrado Parducci. The Guardian Building is a National Historic Landmark. This tour is free & open to the public of all ages. Photography is allowed. Sign up is available inside the Pure Detroit shop upon arrival. The tour will be conducted by historic preservationist and urban planner Michael Boettcher.
