Guatemala Solidarity Project says
Guatemala Solidarity Project is a network between indigenous Guatemalan activists and U.S. based allies. GSP Detroit is hosting our second annual benefit fair- standing in solidarity with the struggle for water security from Detroit to Guatemala.

A group of Detroiters recently returned from a delegation in Guatemala, in which the group lived with an indigenous community in resistance to transnational and national exploitation. Here is a link to the delegation report:

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

LIVE MUSIC set list:
4:00pm: Max and Phill sing songs learned in Guatemala
4:30pm: Andrew Maslowsky
5:15pm: Poetry from various local poets
6:00pm: Folk music by Julie Beutel and Bob O'Brien (don't miss this)
7:00pm: Informative presenation given by GSP Detroit w/pics from Guatemala followed by introduction of other social justice organizations a time for discussion.
8:00pm: The Paradigm
9:00pm: Black Market
