Time Out says

9:00pm (Doors); 10:00pm (Show) / $10 (Adv); $15 (DOS) / 21+ ---------------------------------------------------------- Hook-laden pop with a kaleidoscopic array of worldly influences, The Ragbirds exhibit a gleeful disregard for contemporary folk-rock convention. The group is clearly built around the multi-talented Erin Zindle, who is not only the singer and songwriter, but is proficient in a variety of stringed instruments. This classically trained violinist can aptly pluck the eight-stringed mandolin, wield a wild accordion, and rock the banjo while maintaining lead vocals. Surrounding Zindle's earthy-sweet voice is the whirlwind of a guitarist T.J. Zindle, superb bassist Dan Jones, drummer Jon Brown, and standout percussionist Randall Moore. After seven years of averaging nearly 175 shows a year, all over America; Ann Arbor, Michigan based world-beat-folk-rockers The Ragbirds finally took a break from touring in late summer 2013 to celebrate the birth of Aviva Alice Moore, daughter of front-woman Erin Zindle and percussionist Randall Moore. In March, the band will begin work on their fifth studio album with producer Jamie Candiloro (Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, R.E.M., Willie Nelson). The project is being funded via a fan campaign at http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/theragbirds. A fall 2015 release is anticipated. Showing no signs of slowing down, The Ragbirds (with baby Aviva and nanny in tow!) continue to spread their unique blend of enthusiastic folk rock and world beat Americana all over the United States and beyond, and will be returning to concert venues and festivals stages all over the country this year and for many years to come.
