It’s time to prepare for lift-off because one of Durban's biggest aviation events is about to soar into town. The Durban Virginia Airshow 2026 – G-FORCE FEST lands at Virginia Airport on Sunday, 26 July.
Expect a full day of adrenaline-pumping entertainment as you focus skywards from the first flypast to the final touchdown.

Ready for take-off?
Virginia Airport has long been part of Durban's aviation history, with generations of locals gathering to watch incredible flying displays against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean. This year's G-FORCE FEST promises to throttle things up another notch.
Expect precision flying and gravity-defying manoeuvres as some of South Africa's top pilots take to the skies. If you've never experienced an aerobatic display before, prepare to have your jaw firmly on the tarmac. Among the highlights are:

- Spectacular aerobatic displays
- Formation flying

To keep everyone safe, organisers have issued a few important flight instructions. You should bring:

- Picnic blankets
- Sunscreen and hats
- Cameras and binoculars
- Small backpacks
- Comfortable walking shoes

- Firearms or weapons
- Glass bottles
- Alcohol
- Large cooler boxes
