Looking for something different to do before the public holiday? How about an evening of live cricket – and becoming a part of sporting history while you're at it?
Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium is set to reach a major milestone on Tuesday, 3 November, when it hosts its 100th domestic T20 match. The occasion will be marked by the Hollywoodbets Dolphins' clash against the YesPlay Western Province Cobras in the YesPlay Pro20 Cup Super 8.
It's a big moment for one of Durban's best-known sporting venues, and a good reason for local cricket fans to get behind the home side. With the match starting at 6pm and Wednesday being a public holiday, it's also an ideal opportunity to enjoy a night at the cricket without worrying about an early start the next morning.

A century of domestic T20 cricket
Kingsmead's journey to this milestone began on 11 April 2004, when the Dolphins hosted the Eagles in the venue's first domestic T20 match.
Of the 99 domestic T20 matches played at the stadium so far, 85 have featured the Dolphins – with 44 wins, 34 defeats and one tie. Six matches have ended without a result.
Hollywoodbets Dolphins CEO Heinrich Strydom says, “Since the introduction of domestic T20 cricket in South Africa, Kingsmead has played an important role in the growth and development of the format. It has provided a stage for some outstanding performances, memorable contests and special moments for players and supporters alike.
"We are particularly proud that Kingsmead will become the first ground in the country to reach this milestone. It is a testament to the rich cricketing history of the venue and the continued support of our partners, players, staff and loyal supporters.”
